HURIWA demanded the release of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has called for the arrest and prosecution of former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, due to his alleged involvement in illegal activities in the South-East.
HURIWA questioned why authorities have allowed Dokubo to operate a private army, which he claimed was used in operations against terrorists. The group also expressed concerns over his possession of military-grade weapons and called for a transparent investigation into the South-East killings.
